Working as part of the integrated IMRDS Capital Delivery Main Laying works, working with the Engineers, Operations and Planning team and reporting to the Engineering manager you will be assisting with Pre design, construction and delivery of the capital solutions and other network improvement schemes.
You will play a key role in Pre-design surveying utilising ground penetrating radar, ensuring transfer of site information to design team/Engineers. Assisting the Production team and engagement of key stakeholders assisting with developing and promoting schemes through IMR governance for example Asset Health, Optimisation, Leakage and Network Delivery teams. You will use your knowledge to carry out intensive site-based investigations required to promote the optimum design solutions for a portfolio of schemes. You will ensure through effective communication with team and internal stakeholders that opportunities to maximise on benefits across delivery routes are identified.
Key Responsibilities

From the outset, you will assume responsibility for site survey for each scheme, assisting from design through to delivery by ensuring safe, delivery to time and budget and that high standards, water quality, quality of work, sustainability and cost control demanded by Anglian Water are maintained. You will work alongside our Operations, Engineers, Network Partners and AW water services (networks and supply) teams and feed any learning or improvement opportunities back into the design process.
