£45,760 plus overtime and standby payments, with opportunity for pay progression up to £60,000. Business use of company van, all tools and PPE equipment provided. Permanent, Full time, 37 hours p/w, with flexibility for part time.

Location: Huntingdon, Peterborough, Bedford, Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborough, Corby and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities:

  • Wiring, installing, maintaining and controlling the high diversity of electrical equipment necessary to treat and distribute water.
  • Calibrating and maintaining technical analytical equipment.
  • Investigate asset trends and carry out electrical interventions.
  • Assist electrical framework contractors and internal high voltage, optimisation and automation teams.
  • Utilise electrical drawings to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • React to technical issues to maintain water supply.

What does it take to be an Electrical Asset Technician?

  • Level 3 electrical qualification AND completed an electrical apprenticeship.
  • Strong health & safety focus.
  • Industrial electrical experience.
  • Ability to work standby and overtime as necessary.

As well as carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on our electrical assets, you will work towards a Licence to Operate Qualification to enable you to operate and maintain water treatment assets and processes.
