Make every drop of your potential count. We’re looking for a Contract Analyst to provide specialist, commercial and contract support across our Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) frameworks. This role plays a key part in ensuring cost control, value for money, and strong commercial governance across complex supplier and delivery frameworks.
Working closely with framework managers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you’ll support contracting, cost assurance, performance reporting, and continuous improvement of commercial processes. You’ll act as a subject matter expert, helping teams make informed, value-focused decisions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting IT Development project contract review and resourcing agreements within DDaT frameworks
- Providing cost and commercial expert input into contractual negotiations, evaluation, and lessons-learned activities
- Supporting contract administration, cost capture and challenge of cost estimates and change requests
- Assuring Supplier cost and performance reporting, dashboards and KPIs
- Supporting assurance, audit activity and contract compliance across DDaT frameworks
- Identifying opportunities to improve, streamline or automate cost control and reporting processes
- Supporting the Purchase Orders process/activity resilience across the wider Commercial Team
What we’re looking for:
- Strong understanding of cost analysis, commercial and contract management principles
- Experience supporting cost control, contract management or framework governance
- Ability to analyse cost data to identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities
- Confidence working with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to challenge constructively
- Highly organised and able to deliver quality outputs to tight deadlines
- Comfortable working autonomously while contributing effectively within a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and reporting tools
