What you'll be doing
Leading a critical portfolio within Asset Delivery Planning, with end-to-end accountability for developing and optimising long-term investment strategies. The role is responsible for shaping and maintaining 10-year investment plans, leading Price Review investment planning, managing portfolio risk and dynamic system plans, and driving effective intervention and lifecycle investment decisions. Working closely with regulatory teams, Delivery Alliances, and operational stakeholders, the position champions collaborative planning, strong stakeholder engagement, and a TOTEX-focused approach to delivering customer outcomes. With a specialist focus on flow compliance, the role also forms part of the Flow Compliance and ADP Leadership Team, helping to deliver a coherent, catchment-led investment narrative.
What does it take to be successful?
We are looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager who is passionate and committed to delivering our Asset Delivery Planning programme. In particular you'll need to have:
- Ideally an IAM qualification or equivalent
- System lifecycle thinking with the ability to think and challenge both strategically and tactically
- A good understanding of risk and risk management processes
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong experience of building and managing productive, credible business relationships with managers and stakeholders
- The ability to adapt, think strategically and challenge constructively
