You will split your time between college learning and hands‑on experience across our operational sites. This is a practical, outdoor role where no two days are the same. It is varied, rewarding, and occasionally challenging, but you will be part of a supportive team who will help you grow into a skilled technician. Once qualified, you will join a 24/7 standby rota because your role is vital.

  • Unrestricted Right to Work in the UK for the full duration of the programme.
  • A genuine interest in the water industry and protecting the environment
  • Good communication skills and a strong team mindset
  • Willingness to work outdoors and learn new skills
  • If you do not currently hold a full UK driving licence, you will need to obtain one by the end of year two of the programme, or if this isn’t possible due to your age, within one year of your 17th birthday.

What’s in it for you:

  • A dedicated mentor and full support network
  • Paid holidays, private healthcare, pension, gym and retail discounts
  • Nationally recognised qualifications without the student debt
  • A welcoming and inclusive environment where you can bring your true self
