Location: Within the East Anglia area to include: Lincoln, Peterborough, Huntingdon, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Norfolk and Colchester

Contract: Permanent/Full time

Salary: circa £50,000 & Car Allowance

Playing a key part in our drive to bring environmental and social prosperity to the region we serve through our commitment to Love Every Drop are our Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) Alliance. Comprising of Anglian Water, MGroup, Barhale and Kier, the IOS Alliance work together to concentrate on solutions across the water recycling and clean water asset base.

What will you be doing as our new Assurance Lead?

This is an extremely exciting support the development of a new vision for Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS), where a heavy focus on Quality and Assurance will be critical to IOS\’s Success. IOS consists of a team of experts from Anglian Water, and external Partners who collaboratively work together to deliver optimal solutions for Anglina Water. As we move into AMP8 IOS will support the delivery of Anglian Water\’s most ambitious capital programme yet, where the volume and complete of work will increase. Therefore, to support this programme IOS must have a clear quality and assurance strategy to meet these challenges.

As an Assurance lead you will provide clear leadership and co-ordination of the Assurance processes for the programme area or portfolios assigned and use operational, construction knowledge and experience to support the safe and efficient delivery of IOS / Pan Alliance schemes by:

  • Supporting delivery of projects and assuring with project teams they do not cause adverse customer, environmental or operational impacts. When engaged, taking a balanced view of operational and project delivery needs and promoting collaboration between operational and IOS teams.

  • Working with project delivery teams to assure, review and verify effective plans for managing project assurance.

  • Support delivery teams in identifying and monitoring key deliverables across IOS processes.

  • Where directed, actively participating in ROV, Project Rehearsal, Fit for Assembly, and progress meetings to influence efficient project delivery.

  • Experience of operational risk and impact planning Collaborative mind-set

  • Good leadership and communication skills

  • Experienced in a delivery environment

  • Knowledge of construction safety

  • Good understanding of an alliancing environment

  • Experience of working in a site construction environment

  • Higher education level in a construction or engineering subject Knowledge of water and/or water recycling operations

  • Safety, Environmental, Quality qualifications are desirable

  • Collaborative, approachable and welcoming of new ideas

  • Strong integrator and self-motivated

  • Excellent influencing and people skills.

  • Confident and robust challenger
