Who we are?

Integrated Maintenance and Repair and Developer Services (IMRDS) Alliance – Part of the Anglian Water network, focuses on infrastructure maintenance work and is responsible for: water network pressure management, finding and fixing leaks, replacing lead pipes, and repairing burst mains.

What will you be doing?

As an Advanced Leakage Intervention Technician based in the East area, you’ll provide a high level of advanced leakage support and project delivery to our stakeholders. Working cross-functionally within Leakage and wider areas of the business, you will help deliver short and long-term solutions to reduce historical leakage, as well as providing incident response. You will be part of a team that drives innovation and will be at the forefront of new leak detection technologies and techniques.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Analyse and act upon Level of Service, contractor performance, and detection plan reports.
  2. Be part of a team that works together to achieve a united approach to leakage reduction.
  3. Work with Leakage Analysts and repair contractors on work planning support.
  4. Lead and deliver on projects to a high standard.
  5. Gain a full understanding of flow, consumption, customer usage, and leakage data.
  6. Resolve metering issues and maintain the integrity of leakage areas.
  7. Provide technical support in areas such as detection methods, step testing, and network operations.
  8. Assist in coaching and mentoring of new and existing Field Technicians.

What do you need?

  1. Network and Leakage detection operational experience.
  2. A passion for leak detection and investigation to help solve historical leakage and unaccounted water loss and consumption.
  3. High standards of reporting and communication skills.
  4. Knowledge of water hygiene/sampling, data logging, metering, and telemetry to provide excellent customer service to stakeholders.
  5. Innovative thinking and open-mindedness to explore new leak detection techniques and technologies.

This role requires flexibility, including night and weekend work, to deliver a first-class service to our communities and team.
