Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about contributing to one of the UK’s most ambitious water infrastructure projects? The Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) is searching for a Utility Coordinator to support and enhance our project delivery team.
What will you be doing as our new Utility Coordinator?
You will be the point of contact for all utilities across the project, accountable for the timely and accurate provision of comprehensive utility information. You will coordinate with design and site teams to ensure the project has the information required to undertake work. This role will require the Utility Coordinator to work on-site with teams to ensure compliance to legal requirements when working around utilities. You will lead on future developments to the SPA utility processes, identifying areas for improvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Take ownership of assigned projects and work with personnel throughout the Alliance to ensure utility information is fit for purpose.
- Maintain a utility tracker to ensure orders are placed in a timely fashion and data is always current and meeting legal requirements to undertake work.
- Check through all utility data for errors or omissions prior to making plans available to project teams.
- Support project teams with utility related requests (including diversions, third party supervision requirements).
- Ensure Alliance personnel and new starters are familiar with utility processes and kept up to date.

This job might be for you if you have:
- Experience in the use of digital design technologies/software (such as ArcGIS, BIM/CAD etc.)
- Previous experience in construction/utilities
- Awareness and understanding of key industry documentation (such as HSG47, CDM Regs, PAS 128 & 256).
- Exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- A full UK licence
