As our PMO Data & Reporting Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how performance is measured, reported, and understood across Anglian Water's multi-billion-pound Investment Programme. You'll transform complex requirements from Portfolio Management teams, Delivery Partners, and stakeholders into insightful, visually engaging, and highly accurate reporting that supports timely, informed decision-making.
Leading a team of Data & Reporting Analysts, you'll drive the development of an industry-leading reporting and insights platform, built around a single trusted view of programme performance. Working at the heart of our Delivery Portfolio Management function, you'll ensure business leaders have access to robust, real-time data and actionable insights that support successful programme delivery.
We're looking for an experienced reporting professional with a strong background in financial and project reporting, alongside expertise in data visualisation and business intelligence tools such as Power BI. You'll also bring strong people leadership skills, with experience managing team performance, prioritising workloads, and developing high-performing teams. Knowledge of the UK water industry regulatory environment would be advantageous.
Reporting to the PMO Manager, you'll lead a growing team of analysts and BI developers while working closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure data remains a trusted source of insight and drives continuous improvement across our investment portfolio.
What you’ll be doing:
- Developing and enhancing Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions, bringing together data from multiple systems to create a trusted, single view of performance across Anglian Water's investment programme.
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, transform complex data into meaningful insights, and continuously improve reporting to support business decision-making.
- Leading and developing a team of Data & Reporting Analysts, managing workloads, maintaining reporting quality, and supporting the growth and performance of the team.
- Providing analysis and insight across the investment portfolio, identifying risks, opportunities, trends, and potential delivery challenges to help drive programme performance.
- Building strong relationships with Business Streams, Strategic Alliances, and key stakeholders to ensure reporting aligns with business priorities and enables informed decision-making.
- Representing the PMO at portfolio boards and governance forums, delivering high-quality reporting and insights that influence strategic investment decisions.
What we’re looking for:
- Educated to degree level.
- Extensive PowerBI, Databricks & Fabric technical build and capabilities knowledge and experience.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Technical expertise producing professional business reporting.
- Strong organisational and administration abilities.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders.
- Experience of Anglian Water Investment systems particularly TDW, C55, P6 and SAP ideal.
- Attention to detail.
- Experienced manipulator of different data sets including performance data for efficient use to benefit the business.
