Peterborough Based (Hybrid Working)

Permanent, Full time (37hrs) with flexibility for part time

Anglian Water offers a flexible approach, this role provides you the flexibility to work from home and from an Anglian Water office. Your base location will be Thorpe Wood House in Peterborough with the expectation to work on-site a minimum of 1 day per week as well as occasionally travel to other AW sites as the role requires.

Who we are

Join our dynamic team at Anglian Water, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our region while ensuring the highest standards of customer service. As a member of the Planning & Capacity team, you’ll have the opportunity to influence planning decisions, manage flood risk and foster strong relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally, such as local planning authorities and developers.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you’ll dive into the fast-paced world of town planning and flood risk management. You’ll be at the forefront of assessing and responding to planning applications, guiding future developments within our region. Your input will be crucial in ensuring that growth is sustainable, and that flood risk is managed effectively.

You will be the first point of call for our customers, using your experience to deliver high levels of customer service whilst keeping track of the required timeframes. Identifying critical development sites you will liaise across the Planning & Capacity team to ensure appropriate management of risk.
