Responsibilities

  • As a Café Cook, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming experience for our visitors.
  • Serving up deliciously prepared meals, fresh snacks, barista coffee, or keeping our cafés clean and inviting.
  • Preparing fresh buffets for our room hires, delivering a hearty early morning breakfast and cooking fresh evening meals for our fishing competitions.
  • Being flexible to work across peak seasons, major events within the calendar and stepping in to help across multiple cafés where needed.
  • The preparation of food and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Maintaining high levels of hygiene, food safety, and compliance.
  • Managing stock levels, ordering supplies and controlling costs.
  • Driving efficiency and enhancing the overall customer experience.
  • Supporting the Café Supervisor with leading and training the team.
  • Proactive in maintaining a clean and safe environment, ensuring a welcoming space for all visitors.
  • Reliable, punctual and flexible with shifts.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role.
  • Great teamwork skills.
