Join our Wastewater (Sewage) team as a front-line Technician Apprentice and play a vital role in keeping our sites and equipment operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. This is your chance to build a long-term career with Anglian Water and make a real impact on the environment and our communities.
You’ll split your time between college learning and hands-on experience across our operational sites. You’ll support the wastewater recycling process—collecting, treating and cleaning wastewater before returning it safely to our rivers and seas. This is a practical, outdoor role where no two days are the same. It’s varied, rewarding, and occasionally challenging, but you’ll be part of a supportive team who will help you grow into a skilled technician.
Once qualified, you’ll join a 24/7 standby rota because your role is vital. We are very proud of our apprentices here at Anglian Water. Over 87% of our apprentices are still working here at Anglian after 10 years.
What you’ll do:
- Inspect, maintain and care for essential assets and equipment
- Support fault-finding and respond to issues to help keep our sites running efficiently
- Work and learn alongside experienced mechanical and electrical technicians and follow health and safety protocols
