Salary Circa £60,000 depending on skills and experience

12m Secondment, Full time, 37 hours with flexibility for part time

We’re looking for a Consumption Leader to shape how customers use water, influence behaviour at scale, and deliver meaningful change across our region.

This is a senior leadership role within our Billing, Collections & Consumption team, with real ownership of water-saving strategies, customer engagement programmes and regulatory outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll lead the strategic direction and delivery of behaviour-change initiatives that support key performance commitments (PCC and CMEX), ensuring customers are engaged, informed and motivated to use water wisely.

That means:

• Designing and delivering customer engagement and behaviour-change strategies

• Working closely with regulators and external partners (EA, Ofwat, Defra and industry groups)

• Shaping and delivering plans within the Water Resources Management Plan (WRMP) and AMP programmes

• Leading water-saving initiatives including smart meter consumption journeys, customer side leakage and smart devices

• Managing and inspiring Consumption Project Managers to deliver joined-up, customer-first outcomes

• Using insight and segmentation to tailor messages that genuinely resonate

• Collaborating with Communications, Operations and Customer Services to deliver consistent, impactful messaging

• Use data to drive performance and enhance digital customer journeys
