Starting Salary: £28,000 per annum plus shift allowance

Permanent - 4 on 4 off Shift pattern (10.5 hour shifts - Working between the hours of 6am - 10pm)

Location - Central Laboratory - Huntingdon

Responsibilities

  • Become a crucial member of the Anglian Water Family, working collaboratively in a time critical environment to produce high quality results.
  • Be involved in both testing and quality activities within the laboratory, your daily duties will include all aspects of analysis of water samples using a variety of recognised analytical techniques.
  • Produce accurate data to support colleagues complete vital roles throughout the entire business.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to contribute towards continuous improvement, take on a variety of scientific challenges and gain an exciting array of experience as you meet them.

What does it take to be a Laboratory Analyst?

  • You’ll have a passion for science with either relevant A-Levels or equivalent qualification/experience to make this a great start to your journey with Anglian Water
  • You should be able to follow instructions meticulously to provide a consistent high standard of work
  • You should be adaptable and be able to prioritise
  • You should be able to work effectively as part of a team but also able to undertake independent working when required
