Have you got what it takes to keep communication flowing? Come and join our fast-paced Internal Comms team and develop your potential. Here at Anglian Water, we believe in doing the right thing by communicating openly and honestly with our colleagues. We’re always exploring how to create engaging colleague communications for programmes, projects and activities to keep colleagues and partners informed and help build trust across our organisation.

We have an exciting opportunity for two Internal Comms Executives to join the team and help us deliver wide-ranging internal communications materials across Anglian Water and our alliance partners. One role will support our Internal Communications Business Partners, the other will provide communications support for our SAP programme, while being guided by our IC Editorial Lead.

With your natural communication style and a keen eye for detail, you’ll be tasked with updating the company’s intranet pages and news hub with dynamic content. As well as this, you’ll be able to get creative by generating stimulating content such as video, photography and other digital assets, as well as writing engaging copy for use across multiple channels.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Heaps of passion, and experience working in communications (ideally internal communications)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience in relationship building and stakeholder engagement
  • The ability to thrive working in a fast-paced environment
  • An understanding of what makes good content, how to create and curate it
  • An explorer mindset – to help us find new ways to be at our best while supporting Anglian Water’s brand

It would also be desirable if you have experience working with colleagues in operational roles. And we’d love it if you have photo/video editing skills, but training can be provided. For the SAP role, experience working in a technology-focused environment would be a real plus.

As a valued employee, you’ll benefit from:

  • Full private healthcare with no excess
  • 26 days leave, rising with service + Bank Holidays, with the option to swap Christmas and Easter holidays for those celebrated by your religion
  • A flexible working culture
  • Competitive pension scheme – we double-match your contributions up to 6%
  • Life Assurance at eight times your salary
  • Personal Accident cover – up to 5x your salary
  • Bonus Scheme
  • Lots of great discounts
  • Flexible benefits to support your wellbeing and lifestyle
  • Paid time off when you’re physically and mentally unwell
  • An excellent Family Leave package – to help you support your family
