Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for data-driven decision-making? We are seeking a visionaryHead of Performance and Business Insightto lead our central performance reporting and insight function.
In this pivotal role, you’ll provide enterprise-wide assurance against regulatory commitments and help shape our AMP8 strategic priorities. You’ll lead a team of performance specialists, collaborate across the business, and engage directly with the Executive Committee and Board to deliver clear, accurate, and actionable insights that drive performance and transformation.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the development of performance reporting frameworks, dashboards, and scorecards
- Provide strategic assurance on corporate performance, regulatory metrics, and ODIs
- Collaborate with our Data, Digital and Technology team (DDaT) and Finance team to align data, technology, and financial forecasting
- Drive cross-functional performance insight and data quality improvements
- Coordinate and deliver Performance Board reporting and narratives that influence decisions
- Act as deputy to the Director of Performance, engaging with senior leaders and the Board
- Support programme delivery tracking and ensure alignment with business goals and budgets
- Integrate with our programme and change delivery teams to ensure robust programmes are delivered with effective performance tracking aligned with plans, budgets and goals
We’re looking for someone with :
- Proven experience leading performance, reporting, or analytics functions in complex organisations
- Strong knowledge of corporate performance frameworks, regulatory reporting, and strategic planning
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams
- Highly analytical, numerate, and skilled in presenting complex insights to senior stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
- An ability to deal with high complexity and ambiguity
- Experience in regulated or construction environments is desirable
