Digital Data and Technology Graduate Programme
Salary: £32,000
Start date: September 2026
Location: Cambridgeshire (Huntingdon Head Office). Successful graduate will be required to work from Cambridgeshire, with a requirement to travel across the Anglian Water region as required. Placements may vary across the region and departments, so flexibility is essential.

Programme details
As part of our DDaT directorate, you’ll be at the heart of digital transformation across Anglian Water. You’ll work on real-world challenges that affect millions of customers, helping us deliver resilient, efficient, and environmentally responsible services. The graduate programme offers structured rotations across key areas of DDaT, including:
- Data, Digital & Software Engineering – building and maintaining critical systems and applications
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning – applying intelligent solutions to optimise operations and customer service
- Data & Analytics – turning data into actionable insights for smarter decision-making
- Infrastructure & Operations, and Operational Technology (OT) – integrating digital tools with physical infrastructure to improve performance and reliability
- Cybersecurity & Digital Risk – protecting our systems and data in an increasingly connected world
- Enterprise, Solution and Platform Architecture – designing scalable, secure and future-ready technology landscapes that support business strategy and innovation
- Data and Digital Product Management – shaping the lifecycle of digital products and data services to meet user needs and deliver business value
- Data and Information Governance and Management – ensuring data and information is accurate, secure, and ethically managed to support compliance, effective business processes, data sharing and open data, and trusted decision-making
Who we’re seeking
- Educated in or passionate about Computer Science or Engineering, Data Science, AI/Machine Learning, Data & Analytics, Data Engineering, Digital or Software Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Operational Technology, Information Management or Information Governance or a related field.
