What you will be doing as our Delivery Assurance Co-Ordinator

The Delivery Assurance Coordinator is a key supporting role within the IMR-WR Delivery Assurance function, responsible for assisting in the implementation and day-to-day operation of the ISO-principle aligned quality assurance and control model established by the Delivery Assurance Manager.

The role works closely with the Delivery Assurance Manager to support the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the IMR-WR quality assurance framework. This includes contributing to KPI tracking and reporting, document control processes, quality assurance activities, programme audits, management checks, and compliance monitoring across the Alliance. Working in a highly collaborative environment, the Delivery Assurance Coordinator engages with partner organisations and the central programme team to support the consistent application of governance standards. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build effective working relationships to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

The Delivery Assurance Coordinator provides operational support in the delivery of the Three Lines-of-Defence (LoD) assurance model. This includes undertaking planned and reactive assurance activities, gathering evidence, facilitating audits, and maintaining auditable records across all functions within the hub-and-spoke organisational model. The role supports the assessment of partner compliance with contractual and governance requirements, ensuring adherence to agreed standards and performance expectations.

The role contributes to the maintenance and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), supporting the Delivery Assurance Manager in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the Contracted Annual Performance Indicators (API). This includes helping to establish a reliable “single version of the truth” through disciplined data management and reporting practices. Delivery assurance activity is risk-based, transparent, and aligned with Anglian Water’s governance expectations. The Coordinator supports the independence and integrity of assurance processes by ensuring accurate documentation, traceability of findings, and timely escalation of risks or non-compliance. Where required, the role may support the Delivery Assurance Manager in undertaking NEC Supervisor-related activities, including assisting with the review of allowable costs and contributing to defect management processes.
