We are looking for a Field Engineer to join our Operations team at Alpheus! Reporting to the Service Delivery Supervisor, you will be responsible for the successful completion of routine, reactive and remedial work on sites we operate, working in a safe efficient manner at all times. You will work closely with our Service Delivery Supervisor to identify, develop and implement optimisation opportunities throughout our operational activities, driving down operational costs.
In this role you will participate in our ‘out of hours’ emergency standby rota and weekend work, attending call outs in a timely manner and proactively carrying out repairs to ensure compliance is maintained.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out daily routine maintenance work on various treatment facilities, including general cleaning, sampling and maintenance tasks
- Carry out emergency and planned recovery work, for example, confined space entries, repairs of the plant, cleaning of tanks
- Ensure all client contract terms are fully adhered to
- Provide excellent data and verbal feedback to Head Office via a variety of media (telephone, email, photos)
- Assist the Service Delivery Supervisor in planning daily routes in an efficient manner
- Ensure all Safety issues, method statements, risk assessments and on-site security arrangements are fully adhered to
- Attend and participate in monthly team meetings, suggesting ways to improve processes for the benefit of customers and the business
- Ensure you are in possession of and wear appropriate PPE and safety equipment, and report any defects immediately
