You'll be responsible for managing water resource risk—both quantity and quality—and ensuring we are fully prepared for drought and climate uncertainty. Responsibilities
- Lead hydrological strategy across water resources and drought planning, including hydrological inputs to statutory Drought Plans.
- Play a key leadership role in drought response, acting as a principal hydrological contact and leading tactical and strategic workstreams.
- Oversee hydrological analysis, modelling and reporting, ensuring data drives innovative, practical solutions.
- Manage complex, high-impact projects, from drought permit preparation to data visualisation and insight.
- Influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders, including the Environment Agency and internal decision-makers.
- Translate complex science into clear, actionable insight that supports confident business decisions.
- Bring a strong blend of technical credibility and leadership capability, operating confidently in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment.

Requirements
