Head of Asset Management

Starting from £120,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance Permanent / Full Time / 37 Hours per week Location Flexible Across the Anglian Water Region - Hybrid

What you’ll be doing:

• Shape our long‑term approach to asset management, connecting organisational priorities with the decisions we make about our assets.
• Support effective investment decisions, helping us balance performance, risk, resilience, affordability and long‑term value.
• Build a clear view of asset health and risk, using information and insight to inform priorities and choices.
• Strengthen asset data and intelligence, improving the quality and use of asset information and turning data into actionable insight to support asset health, risk and investment decisions.
• Strengthen our asset management framework, ensuring appropriate strategies, policies, processes and standards are in place.
• Drive continuous improvement, helping us learn from good practice and continually develop the way we manage our assets.
• Build capability, growing asset management knowledge, confidence and expertise across the organisation.
• Develop strong relationships, working across organisational boundaries and with external partners to achieve shared outcomes.

What we’re looking for

There isn’t one particular career path that will make you successful in this role. You may have developed your experience through asset management, engineering, operations, investment planning or another relevant environment. More important is your ability to think strategically, understand complex issues and bring people together to make good decisions. You’re likely to be someone who: brings a broad, whole‑system perspective is comfortable working with complexity and uncertainty builds trusted relationships and works collaboratively uses evidence and insight to support decision‑making can balance immediate priorities with longer‑term needs communicates clearly and influences effectively is curious, inclusive and committed to learning and improvement enjoys helping others develop their capability and confidence.
