We're looking for a System Planner to join our established team of planners, helping to identify operational risks, influence strategic decision-making, and support future growth.
This is a highly varied role where you'll combine analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills to help ensure we have the right plans and solutions in place both now and for the future.

What you'll be doing
As a System Planner, you'll play a key role in understanding and managing operational and strategic risks across your region.
You’ll:
- Analyse and interpret data to identify current and future risks
- Work closely with operational teams and data owners to understand trends and opportunities
- Develop recommendations and solutions to mitigate risks and support business performance
- Support longer-term planning by identifying emerging risks, growth requirements, and future network needs
- Build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the business
- Present insights and recommendations clearly and confidently to different audiences

Essential
- Experience analysing data and generating meaningful insights (Excel, Power BI & C55)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience building effective stakeholder relationships
- The ability to influence and collaborate across different teams
- Confidence working with large volumes of information and translating findings into practical solutions
Desirable
- Experience in planning, forecasting, operational analysis, or risk management
- Knowledge of infrastructure, utilities, operational planning, or similar environments
- Full UK driving licence
