As Head of Delivery, you'll be accountable for defining and executing the IOS delivery strategy, ensuring the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of programmes and projects across Anglian Water.
Reporting to the IOS Delivery Director, you'll provide strategic leadership across delivery operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, commercially and in line with regulatory and business objectives.
You'll lead a team of Programme and Senior Programme Managers, whilst providing broader functional leadership across internal teams, alliance partners and supply chain organisations.
This is a role that combines strategic thinking with operational excellence, requiring a leader who can balance customer outcomes, commercial performance, governance, safety and delivery results.

- Ensure robust governance, controls and assurance frameworks are in place
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks, challenges and constraints
- Drive recovery plans where required to maintain delivery commitments
- Lead strategic programme reviews and performance discussions

- Define and implement the IOS delivery strategy
- Translate business objectives into clear delivery plans and measurable outcomes
- Own the operating model that enables effective and efficient programme delivery
- Ensure investments, resources and priorities are aligned to business needs

- Influence at the Highest Levels
- Represent IOS at senior governance and executive forums
- Act as deputy to the IOS Delivery Director when required
- Build strong relationships across Anglian Water, regulators, alliance partners and industry stakeholders
- Provide strategic challenge, insight and assurance to senior decision-makers
- Be a visible ambassador for IOS and delivery excellence

Essential Experience
- Senior leadership experience delivering complex infrastructure programmes and major capital projects
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary and multi-organisation delivery teams
- Proven ability to lead large programme portfolios with significant budgets and strategic importance
- Experience engaging and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders
- Professional qualification and significant experience within engineering, programme management, infrastructure delivery or a related discipline
