About the role

We are looking for a Delivery Assurance Manager to provide front‑line assurance across our Supply Maintenance Delivery (SMD) portfolio, with a particular focus on Storage Point construction and refurbishment activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on‑ground assurance of health, safety and CDM compliance across SMD projects, including site audits and safety reviews.
- Carry out site inspections and quality reviews to ensure works meet specifications, standards and best practice.
- Support the delivery of a "right first time" culture by identifying risks early and promoting effective construction methods.
- Review programme performance and productivity trends, helping to identify risks, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Deliver commercial assurance through site‑based validation of costs, materials and contractor outputs.
- Support the development of performance and quality KPIs, ensuring consistent measurement across the portfolio.
- Coach and support Project Engineers and delivery teams to drive improvements in safety, quality and operational performance.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors to ensure aligned and effective delivery.
Requirements
- Experience in operational delivery, construction or infrastructure environments, ideally within utilities or a regulated industry.
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements, including CDM regulations.
- Experience in quality, performance or commercial assurance activities.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify risks and challenge constructively.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team environment.
- Good IT skills and a proactive, organised approach to work.
