Join Anglian Water's Strategic Pipeline Alliance as an Agricultural Liaison Officer.
Location: Flexible work, mainly remote based on‑site at SPA compounds at Etton, Bexwell and north Norfolk.
Employment Type: Full‑time, Permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce archaeological risk maps identifying areas of high, moderate and low risk.
- Be the key contact for all landowners / farmers / tenants for the duration of the project.
- Undertake discussions with the landowner regarding the impact that the project will have on their business and farming regimes and ensure that the project team and Lands agents are aware of construction timings and compensation matters.
- Coordinate all Pre‑Entry assessments/surveys on the land and collate additional information provided by the landowners / farmers.
- Liaise with stakeholders regarding land and land drainage matters and assist the project team and land drainage consultant with the post‑construction drainage design.
- Record all interactions with stakeholders and complete data input for monthly reports.
- Attend necessary project meetings and continuously monitor for any conflicting information that could cause an impact on the landowner.
- Advise the project team of any potential issues in a proactive manner.
- Coordinate the required tasks to close out the project and ensure minimal impact on the landowner.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- An engaging and enthusiastic personality that can form relationships at ease, and is an excellent communicator who can build and sustain relationships with the project teams and external stakeholders (including farmers and residents).
- Can travel and be located at the scheme location during the lifetime of the project.
- Experience of being part of a large‑scale infrastructure programme, in particular ones that have an impact on agricultural businesses.
- Has the capability to use project systems to record stakeholder interactions and project progress.
- Is a proactive problem‑solver keeping the business objective at the heart of every decision.
- A can‑do attitude and enthusiasm to innovate and get the job done.
