You’ll be sales and service focused, bring contacts in the events industry and will work closely with Senior Stakeholders and park delivery teams to support our One Team, One Experience approach to generate new, exciting events and opportunities on our parks across the Eastern Region. Your events will complement the natural park environments in keeping with each of our sites, Rutland, Grafham, Alton, Pitsford & Taverham Mill. This is a regional role and travel across our parks will be required along with weekend and evening working in line with the event programme we deliver.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the accountable owner for commercial events, including:
- Shaping and delivering the commercial events strategy across the parks portfolio
- Identifying and developing income‐generating opportunities, partnerships, filming and media use
- Leading event planning, including contracts, licensing, risk assessments and safety documentation
- Acting as the single point of accountability for compliance, delivery and evaluation
- Managing external stakeholders — organisers, partners, emergency services and authorities
- Supporting and coaching park teams to deliver smaller-scale, value‐adding events
- Ensuring exceptional health & safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Measuring event performance, impact and ROI, feeding learning back into the sales pipeline
