We're looking for a Plant Compliance Manager to join our Fleet team and play a vital role in ensuring the safe, compliant and effective management of plant equipment used across our operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, influencing stakeholders and driving continuous improvement.
You'll be at the heart of our Managed Service Desk (MSD) operation, working with both internal teams and external partners to ensure plant compliance standards are met and our services continue to evolve.
What will you be doing?
- Overseeing the compliance of all plant hired through our Managed Service Desk service and managing the performance of our key supplier contracts.
- Monitor, record and report on key performance indicators to ensure contractual and compliance requirements are met.
- Visit operational sites across the region to audit plant compliance and support safe working practices.
- Work closely with our Health & Safety teams to monitor the people and plant interface and investigate compliance concerns.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of Human Form Recognition (HFR) standards and reporting.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, contractors and operational teams to drive improvements and resolve issues.
- Manage supplier and framework performance, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Commercial and Framework Management colleagues to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Use data, reporting and insights to support informed decision making and improve business performance.
What does it take to be successful?
We're looking for someone who can confidently engage with a wide range of stakeholders and who has a passion for safety, compliance and operational excellence. You'll ideally have:
- Experience in supplier, contract or framework management.
- Knowledge of plant compliance and the people and plant interface.
- Experience of Human Form Recognition (HFR) principles and compliance monitoring.
- Experience working collaboratively with Health & Safety, Procurement and Commercial teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Share Point and document control systems.
- A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel across the region.
