The Role

As Head of Delivery, you'll be accountable for defining and executing the IOS delivery strategy, ensuring the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of programmes and projects across Anglian Water.

Reporting to the IOS Delivery Director, you'll provide strategic leadership across delivery operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, commercially and in line with regulatory and business objectives.

You'll lead a team of Programme and Senior Programme Managers, whilst providing broader functional leadership across internal teams, alliance partners and supply chain organisations.

This is a role that combines strategic thinking with operational excellence, requiring a leader who can balance customer outcomes, commercial performance, governance, safety and delivery results.

We're looking for an experienced programme delivery leader with a track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex infrastructure or operational portfolios.

Essential Experience

  • Senior leadership experience delivering complex infrastructure programmes and major capital projects
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary and multi-organisation delivery teams
  • Proven ability to lead large programme portfolios with significant budgets and strategic importance
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Professional qualification and significant experience within engineering, programme management, infrastructure delivery or a related discipline
