Who We Are
Integrated Maintenance, Repair and Development Services (IMRDS) is the team that maintains our water supply systems, handles emergencies like water bursts, and develops new ways to better serve our customers. We offer various roles, from frontline operational work to project management and data analysis.
IMRDS is part of the Embedded Alliance within Anglian Water, working alongside other organisations for skill-sharing and using the best people for the job. If you want to join a rapidly expanding team with growth and networking opportunities, we want to hear from you!
Working within the IMRDS alliance and sitting in Capital Delivery, this newly established role will act as a critical enabler between innovation, construction delivery and business-as-usual operations. You’ll play a key role in accelerating the adoption of innovation and driving step-change efficiency across capital delivery programmes.
You’ll lead the transition of innovative ideas and pilots into scalable, embedded solutions, working collaboratively with innovation teams, construction delivery and operational colleagues to co-design and implement new ways of working. Challenging traditional construction methodologies, you’ll support teams to adopt modern methods of construction, digital tools and efficiency-driven practices.
A core part of the role is driving behavioural and cultural change across site teams. You’ll build strong relationships with internal teams, contractors and supply chain partners, clearly communicating the value and impact of co-creation initiatives and fostering a culture of shared ownership and innovation.
Health, Safety and Wellbeing will sit at the heart of everything you do. You’ll embed HSW principles into all co-creation activity, working closely with HSW teams to assess new methodologies and technologies, promote a proactive safety culture and identify opportunities to improve safety performance through innovation. You’ll act as a safety advocate during site engagements and co-creation workshops, ensuring frontline teams are empowered to raise concerns and contribute to safer practices.
- Experience driving innovation, transformation or change within construction, capital delivery or operational environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines and organisations
- Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into practical, frontline delivery
- Confidence challenging established ways of working and influencing behavioural and cultural change
- A strong commitment to Health, Safety and Wellbeing, with knowledge of CDM regulations and safe systems of work
- Ability to define and track success metrics for innovation and efficiency improvements
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills

- Bonus scheme
- Private health care
- Competitive pension scheme
- Up to 26 days annual leave, increasing with length of service
