Starting salary (plus overtime): £39,520 for candidates with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject) and £35,360 for candidates with NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent in Mechanical/Engineering Subject). Clear progression opportunities to earn up to £47,840 basic with further training and experience. Van, PPE, tools, and fuel card provided. Permanent full-time with flexibility for part-time, 37 hours, 4-day working pattern. Location: Covering Lincoln, Louth, Humber and surrounding area.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for carrying out general repairs, investigating and rectifying faults and completing scheduled maintenance to ensure the reliability of our assets.
- Optimise performance and resilience of our assets by utilising technology such as Ovarro data.
- Support a proactive pumping station servicing team and protect the environment through effective maintenance.
- Work with assets such as pumps, valves, gearboxes and motors. Experience working with mechanical/Electrical control systems, telemetry systems and general water industry plant maintenance would also be advantageous.
Qualifications
- Obtained at least an NVQ Level 2 (ideally Level 3) mechanical engineering qualification (or equivalent).
- Completed a relevant apprenticeship.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
