## Consumption LeaderApplylocations: Lincoln: Huntingdon: Peterboroughtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R38534**Salary Circa £60,000 depending on skills and experience****12m Secondment, Full time, 37 hours** **with flexibility for part time** **Location: Lincoln/Huntingdon/Peterborough with travel****Flexible working based in office and also at home**Want a role where your work genuinely helps protect water for future generations?We’re looking for a **Consumption Leader** to shape how customers use water, influence behaviour at scale, and deliver meaningful change across our region.This is a senior leadership role within our **Billing, Collections & Consumption team**, with real ownership of water‐saving strategies, customer engagement programmes and regulatory outcomes.**What you’ll be doing**You’ll lead the strategic direction and delivery of behaviour‐change initiatives that support key performance commitments (PCC and CMEX), ensuring customers are engaged, informed and motivated to use water wisely.That means:* Designing and delivering customer engagement and behaviour‐change strategies* Working closely with regulators and external partners (EA, Ofwat, Defra and industry groups)* Shaping and delivering plans within the Water Resources Management Plan (WRMP) and AMP programmes* Leading water‐saving initiatives including smart meter consumption journeys, customer side leakage and smart devices* Managing and inspiring Consumption Project Managers to deliver joined‐up, customer‐first outcomes* Using insight and segmentation to tailor messages that genuinely resonate* Collaborating with Communications, Operations and Customer Services to deliver consistent, impactful messaging* Use data to drive performance and enhance digital customer journeys**Leadership & culture**You’ll lead with purpose — creating a positive, inclusive and safe environment where people can do their best work.
