£22,989 - £25,000 + use of company vehicle
Location: Ipswich – You would need to be based within 30 minutes of this location
Fixed Term Contract – 6 months
37 Hours per week – Flexible hours between of 6:30 to 20:00, including some hours on a Saturday when required to meet customer needs.

As our Meter Technician you will manage your own workload so will feel like you are your own boss with the support of a big organisation behind you.
Your day to day activities
- Obtain accurate readings from water meters
- Carry out meter exchanges – (Full training will be provided)
- Collect meter data
- Lastly and most importantly provide excellent customer service.

What does it take to be a Metering Technician?
- Customer focussed individuals
- A professional image is very important - we will provide you with a uniform and van
- The role can be physically demanding as you will walk in the region of 3 to 8 miles per day.
- You will also use a handheld computer to carry out your work, so basic IT skills are required
