To support this, we’re looking for a Head of Quality to lead quality excellence across engineering, design, and construction.

What you’ll do

  • As Head of Quality, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality management across the @one Alliance.
  • You’ll develop and implement a forward-thinking quality strategy, driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and delivering a Quality Strategy that aligns with the @one Alliance’s objectives.
  • Leading and inspiring a team of Quality professionals to drive high standards across engineering, design, and construction.
  • Ensuring compliance with ISO certifications (9001, 14001, 45001) and regulatory requirements.
  • Embedding a culture of continuous improvement, using data analytics tools like PowerBI and AMS to drive performance.
  • Managing quality assurance, risk management, and compliance initiatives, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working closely with SHEQ, delivery teams, and supply chain partners to maintain and enhance quality standards.

What we’re looking for

  • Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, ideally within the water sector.
  • Experience in developing and delivering Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and fostering collaboration.
  • Knowledge of audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • CSCS competence card and Lead Auditor qualification (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for driving change and innovation in quality management.
