We’re looking for a Fleet Project Delivery Manager to join Anglian Water’s Commercial Operations team and play a key role in delivering fleet and plant asset programmes across our business as well as managing other fleet related projects where required. This is a delivery-focused role responsible for ensuring vehicles, plant and operational assets are planned, procured and implemented efficiently across their lifecycle.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of fleet and plant asset implementation projects.
- Coordinate project timelines, milestones and deliverables to ensure on-time delivery.
- Oversee the full asset ordering process, ensuring specifications and requirements are accurate.
- Work with Procurement and suppliers to manage quotations, lead times and delivery schedules.
- Monitor project performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
- Coordinate internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery and implementation.
- Oversee vehicle and asset handovers, ensuring readiness for operational deployment.
- Manage asset lifecycle activity including returns, replacements and disposals.
- Produce reports and dashboards to track project progress and supplier performance.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with governance requirements.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to support effective delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement across planning and delivery processes.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience delivering projects within fleet, transport, automotive, plant or asset environments.
- Experience managing multiple workstreams or projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management.
- Experience working with suppliers and third-party providers.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong analytical capability and reporting experience.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
Desirable:
- Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM).
- Experience within utilities, logistics or fleet environments.
- Knowledge of fleet or asset systems.
