We’re looking for a Fleet Project Delivery Manager to join Anglian Water’s Commercial Operations team and play a key role in delivering fleet and plant asset programmes across our business as well as managing other fleet related projects where required. This is a delivery-focused role responsible for ensuring vehicles, plant and operational assets are planned, procured and implemented efficiently across their lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of fleet and plant asset implementation projects.
  • Coordinate project timelines, milestones and deliverables to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Oversee the full asset ordering process, ensuring specifications and requirements are accurate.
  • Work with Procurement and suppliers to manage quotations, lead times and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor project performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
  • Coordinate internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery and implementation.
  • Oversee vehicle and asset handovers, ensuring readiness for operational deployment.
  • Manage asset lifecycle activity including returns, replacements and disposals.
  • Produce reports and dashboards to track project progress and supplier performance.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with governance requirements.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to support effective delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement across planning and delivery processes.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience delivering projects within fleet, transport, automotive, plant or asset environments.
  • Experience managing multiple workstreams or projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with suppliers and third-party providers.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical capability and reporting experience.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.

Desirable:

  • Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM).
  • Experience within utilities, logistics or fleet environments.
  • Knowledge of fleet or asset systems.
