We’re looking for a Delivery Assurance Manager to provide front-line assurance across our Supply Maintenance Delivery (SMD) portfolio, with a particular focus on Storage Point construction and refurbishment activities. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our programmes are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance. Working closely with delivery teams and contractors, you’ll help embed consistency, improve performance, and drive a strong culture of continuous improvement across our operations.

  • Carry out site inspections and quality reviews to ensure works meet specifications, standards, and best practice.
  • Support the delivery of a “right first time” culture by identifying risks early and promoting effective construction methods.
  • Review programme performance and productivity trends, helping to identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Deliver commercial assurance through site-based validation of costs, materials, and contractor outputs.
  • Support the development of performance and quality KPIs, ensuring consistent measurement across the portfolio.
  • Coach and support Project Engineers and delivery teams to drive improvements in safety, quality, and operational performance.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors to ensure aligned and effective delivery.

Requirements

  • Experience in operational delivery, construction, or infrastructure environments, ideally within utilities or a regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of health & safety requirements, including CDM regulations.
  • Experience of quality, performance, or commercial assurance activities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks and challenge constructively.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team environment.
  • Good IT skills and a proactive, organised approach to work.

We invest in our people - as a valued employee, you’ll be entitled to:

  • Personal private health care.
  • Generous double match pension – contribute 7% and Anglian Water will contribute 14%, giving a total contribution of 21%.
  • 24-hour Virtual GP service for you and your household.
  • 26 days annual leave – rising with length of service and the ability to buy more.
  • Life assurance (up to 8 x salary).
  • Personal accident cover (up to 5 x salary).
  • Excellent family friendly policies, such as 26 weeks full pay for maternity / adoption leave, as well as 4 weeks paid paternity / partner leave. Opportunity for shared parental pay.
