- Drafting and reviewing contract documentation, allocating risk and reward, and enabling performance management for post-contract success.
- Overseeing the supplier and contractor selection process, producing robust tender documents, and leading commercial negotiations.
- Providing commercial modelling, evaluation, and dispute avoidance expertise.
- Building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, and supporting continuous improvement.
- Using proven experience in designing commercial models, including payment mechanisms, framework call‐off approaches and Key Performance Indicators to support major programmes through the management of risk, cost certainty and supplier performance.
- Championing health, safety, and wellbeing, and helping us maintain our Safer Every Day culture.
What we’re looking for:
- Significant experience in commercial management for major infrastructure projects.
- Expertise in NEC4 contracts and pre-contract procurement.
- Good understanding of PA23 and contracting principles.

- Personal accident cover (up to 5 x salary)
- Double-matched pension (maximum 6% employee contribution)
- 26 days annual leave – rising with length of service and the ability to buy more
