Operational Administration – Water Recycling

Salary: From £25,834 per annum

Contract: Fixed Term Contract (12 months)

Location: Colchester Water Recycling Centre

Water Recycling is at the heart of our operations. The key services that we are responsible for are delivered by our in-house, highly skilled workforce. We collect and treat the water that customers have used, returning it to the environment via rivers and coastal outlets. Our network includes 76,000 kilometres of sewers which feed over 1,000 water recycling centres.

We are seeking a proactive and organized Operational Team Administrator to join our Water Recycling Operations team. You will play a vital role in supporting our operational teams by providing essential administrative assistance, ensuring smooth operations within the catchment area.

Duties:

  • Accurate planning, scheduling and recording of all meetings (meeting rooms, record minutes, arrange refreshments, organising invitations and communicating with attendees)
  • Managing meeting diaries, scheduling 1:2:1 meetings and monthly team meetings with efficiency and effectiveness in mind
  • Maintaining health and safety records for all team members
  • Keeping a record of gaps and/or training that is due to expire
  • Ensuring that all data collection and retention is in line with GDPR regulations
  • Ordering PPE, tools and equipment and stationery for team members and sites in the area you serve
  • Managing invoices

What does it take to be an Operational Team Administrator?

  • Secretarial and/or administrative experience
  • Excellent IT skills – experience in MS Office 365
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Valid Driving Licence
