Role Responsibilities
- Carry out general repairs, investigate and rectify faults, and complete scheduled and reactive maintenance to ensure reliability of our assets.
- The role is not just about doing a job, it has a real purpose; it’s about protecting our environment and our customers.
- With support from a collaborative team you will develop your commercial and industrial experience with assets such as electrical control panels, motor testing, level control equipment and instrumentation, inverters, and working on/around gearboxes, screw conveyors and centrifuge equipment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- An NVQ level 3 electrical qualification (or equivalent), 18th Edition electrical City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent.
- Industrial/Commercial experience required and completed a relevant apprenticeship.
- A full UK driving licence is also essential.
- Demonstrable experience in completing inspections, maintenance and fault diagnosis, and competent in undertaking repairs to large pumps, actuated valves, VSD and 3-phase electrical switchgear.
