Our skilled team of industrial electricians are a vital part of the Water Supply family, keeping our treatment works running smoothly to ensure the supply of 1.3bn litres of clean, safe drinking water to 5 million customers, every single day. Key responsibilities
- Wiring, installing, maintaining and controlling the high diversity of electrical equipment necessary to treat and distribute water.
- Calibrating and maintaining technical analytical equipment.
- Investigating asset trends and carrying out electrical interventions.
- Assisting electrical framework contractors and internal high‑voltage, optimisation and automation teams.
- Using electrical drawings to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Reacting to technical issues to maintain water supply.
Essential qualifications & experience
- Level 3 electrical qualification and completion of an electrical apprenticeship.
- Strong health & safety focus.
- Industrial electrical experience.
- Ability to work standby‑by and overtime as necessary.
- Experience in planned and reactive maintenance on electrical assets.
- Planned progression towards a Licence to Operate Qualification.
