What will you be doing?

You role is to be providing leadership, coaching and support to our operational teams to ensure delivery of our performance commitments, ensuring our delivery teams can adapt to meet the requirements of the business through effective risk management and configuration and delivery of all operational activities. You will be ensuring an effective Water Recycling service is carried out within the regional area, ensuring operations are effective and efficient and in line with regulatory requirements. This role will manage a large, geographical operational team in the delivery of our water recycling strategy to ensure the safe operation of our operational assets and treatment of waste water, whilst protecting the environment from discharges and protection of our customer from flooding. You will be ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service at all times, providing expertise and support in the management of operational activities and incident. A key part of your role will be influencing wider stakeholders, particularly within capital investments through area investment and major capital delivery routes to meet our performance commitment, development operational resilience and effective promotion of schemes.

What does it take to be successful?

  • Demonstrable experience of having successfully lead/managed a specialist team
  • ICT Literate in various programmes and adaptable to new systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience of corporate governance structures and experience of successfully operating within this environment
  • Health and safety qualification to a minimum IOSH level
  • Experience of working with or close to the Water Industry would be an advantage
