We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established building services contractor with years of experience delivering high-quality Mechanical & Electrical installations across East Anglia. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation teams across multiple commercial projects.
The Role
As Electrical Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification. You'll act as the link between site operatives, project management and the client, ensuring quality workmanship and programme targets are consistently achieved.
Responsibilities
- Supervising electrical installation teams on commercial construction projects
- Managing subcontractors and directly employed electricians
- Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and company standards
- Carrying out site inspections and quality assurance checks
- Coordinating materials, labour and plant requirements
- Completing RAMS, permits and site documentation
- Conducting toolbox talks and maintaining high Health & Safety standards
- Liaising with Project Managers, Site Managers, consultants and clients
- Assisting with commissioning, testing and project handovers
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor within commercial M&E contracting
- Strong background supervising electrical installations on new build and refurbishment projects
- SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred)
- ECS Gold Card or equivalent electrical qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Testing & Inspection qualifications (desirable)
- Full UK Driving Licence
