Anglian Recruitment are currently recruiting for 2 x Field Service Engineers on behalf of a well-established machinery and equipment business. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers looking for a long-term permanent position with a growing organisation.

The Role

Working as part of a busy field service team, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of specialist machinery and equipment at customer sites. The role will involve fault finding, diagnostics, planned maintenance and breakdown response whilst delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain and repair machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
  • Complete detailed service and repair reports.
  • Provide technical support to customers and colleagues.
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs).
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
  • Represent the business professionally when attending customer sites.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Plant Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, HGV Technician, Mechanical Engineer or similar.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • IT literate and comfortable completing digital job reports.
