We are currently seeking an experienced Sub-Agent to support the delivery of a large-scale infrastructure project based in Swaffham, Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced civils professional to join a major ongoing project with long-term work available.
Project Scope: The project will involve a wide range of construction and infrastructure works including:
- Groundworks
- Fibre Reinforced Concrete (FRC) works
- Structural steel cladded buildings
- Internal fit-out works
- External works including:
- Drainage
- Ducting
- Earthing
- Roads
- Fencing
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Agent / Project Manager with the successful delivery of the project
- Supervise site operations and subcontractors on a daily basis
- Ensure all works are completed safely, on programme, and to specification
- Monitor quality standards and maintain accurate site records
- Assist with planning, reporting, and coordination of site activities
- Ensure full compliance with HSEQ and site procedures
Requirements:
- Previous civils experience is essential
- Proven experience working as a Sub-Agent or Section Engineer
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification
- Valid CSCS Card (Gold or above preferred)
- First Aid qualification desirable
- Strong understanding of health & safety and site compliance procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced construction environment

- Right to work in the UK
- All site certifications must be valid and in date
- Ability to adhere to all site safety and compliance standards
