The Role
As Groundworks Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders while working closely with the commercial and operational teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed estimates and tender submissions for groundworks and civil engineering projects.
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Measuring quantities and pricing works accurately.
- Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Identifying project risks and value engineering opportunities.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and the internal commercial team.
- Supporting negotiations and assisting with successful project handovers.
