We are currently recruiting for Skilled Carpenter /Joiner to join an ongoing project in Stafford, working on the construction and installation of boardwalks and footbridges.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced tradespeople looking for 11 weeks of consistent work on a major construction project.

The Role

You will be working as part of a site team involved in the construction and installation of boardwalks, footbridges and associated structures.

Duties will include

  • Construction and installation of boardwalks and footbridges
  • General skilled construction work
  • Using hand and power tools
  • Measuring, cutting and fitting materials
  • Assisting with structural and groundworks activities
  • Following site drawings and instructions
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
  • Working effectively as part of a site team

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a skilled construction role
  • Experience with timber construction, carpentry, groundworks or similar would be advantageous
  • Competent using hand and power tools
  • Able to work from instructions and/or basic drawings
  • Good understanding of site health & safety
  • CSCS card preferred
  • Reliable and hardworking
  • Own PPE
