The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Retrofit Supervisor to oversee the delivery of retrofit and energy-efficiency works across multiple sites in and around Bishop’s Stortford. Projects will include:
- Solar PV installations
- Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
- Internal & external insulation
- Window upgrades and wider fabric improvements
You will be responsible for supervising site teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly, on programme, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day supervision of retrofit works on site
- Managing subcontractors and direct labour
- Ensuring full health & safety compliance
- Monitoring quality, programme, and productivity
- Coordinating materials and site logistics
- Liaising with clients, residents, and internal teams
- Reporting progress and supporting project handovers
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Supervisor role within retrofit, maintenance, or construction
- Strong knowledge of Solar PV, ASHP, insulation, and fabric works
- Experience working in occupied properties (preferred)
- SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable)
- Valid CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
