Anglian Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Coded Welder to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing company for a project based in the Preston area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder seeking a temporary assignment with immediate start availability, consistent working hours, and the opportunity to maximise earnings through weekend overtime.
The Role
- Carrying out high-quality coded welding to engineering specifications
- Working with a variety of materials including carbon steel and stainless steel
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding procedures
- Ensuring all welds meet quality and safety standards
- Completing fabrication and welding duties as required
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
Requirements
- Valid welding codes/certifications (MIG, TIG, MMA/Stick or Flux Core)
- Previous experience in a coded welding role
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, hardworking and safety conscious
- CSCS card beneficial but not essential
