Anglian Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer for a major civil engineering and infrastructure project based in Necton, Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy site team on a long-term infrastructure scheme, working on a range of civils and groundworks packages.
Duties will include:
- Setting out for roads, drainage, foundations and associated civils works
- Carrying out site surveys and measurements
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Producing accurate as-built records
- Quality assurance and checking works are completed to specification
- Liaising with Site Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors
- Maintaining site records and engineering documentation
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer / Site Engineer
- Strong civils, infrastructure or heavy groundworks background
- Competent using Leica, Trimble or similar surveying equipment
- CSCS Card
- Own setting out kit preferred
- Full UK Driving Licence
