We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Plumber to join a busy social housing maintenance contractor covering the Saffron Walden area. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled tradesperson looking for long-term, ongoing work within occupied residential properties.
The Role:
You will be carrying out a mixture of reactive maintenance, planned works, and general repairs within social housing properties. The ideal candidate will have strong plumbing experience alongside additional multi-trade skills.
- Plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Tap changes and toilet repairs
- Bath, sink, and shower replacements
- Kitchen and bathroom maintenance
- Leak detection and pipework repairs
- General carpentry and multi-trade repairs
- Basic patch plastering, tiling, and decorating
- Working in occupied properties while maintaining high customer service standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Multi Trade Plumber
- Background within social housing or domestic maintenance preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Own tools required
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- CSCS card advantageous
