We are currently looking for an experienced Multi-Tradesman to join an ongoing project in the Bishop’s Stortford area, with an immediate start available.
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience in carpentry and bricklaying (essential)
- Additional trade skills are highly desirable
- Ability to carry out general maintenance work
- Must be able to drive (work across local sites)
- CSCS card preferred
Maintenance Scope (Carpentry & Brickwork):
Carpentry:
- Repair and replacement of doors, frames, skirting, architraves, and locks
- Kitchen unit adjustments, repairs, and minor installations
- Flooring repairs (timber/laminate) and boarding works
- Stud wall repairs, plasterboard fixing, and basic patching
- Window repairs and adjustments (timber frames)
Brickwork:
- Minor brick/block repairs and replacements
- Repointing and patch repairs to existing masonry
- Small wall builds and making good after structural works
- Repair of cracks and damaged brickwork
- Pathways, steps, and small external works
Additional Multi-Trade Maintenance Skills:
- Basic plumbing (tap changes, leak repairs, sanitary ware swaps)
- Basic electrical (like-for-like fittings, sockets, switches – if qualified)
- Painting & decorating (prep, making good, finishing)
- Tiling repairs
